Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj who we all know as the founder of the Hindavi Swaraj, has been a continuous source of inspiration to all the thousands of not only Maharashtrian people but also to those who are foreign. Chhatrapati Shivajiraje had sculpted an entire kingdom which was free from Mughal regime which was a huge challenge as the whole of India was ruled by Mughals and other similar foreign invasions. His courage, valor and gallantry is second to none and has kept on inspiring people over the years. His guerilla tactics and administrative methods have been adopted in the syllabus of some countries and are taught to history and military students. We know Maharaj only as a king, but he was more than that. He was a king, visionary, a great administrator, economist and a compassionate but a fierce patriot who for his sheer love for country, arose a great rebellion after a long history of 800 years of tyranny and cruelty.

Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti was celebrated with lot of enthusiasm and energy on Friday 17 Feb 2023 at 8.30 am on the school ground of Blossom Public School new Narhe, Pune. The program was presided by honouable principal Mrs. Vandana Kharat mam. It commenced by lighting of lamp and garlanding the idol of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj by principal mam and H. M sir with all co- ordinators. 

The students of secondary section sang powada stating the bravery of Shivaji Maharaj. Vaishnavi Dhumal delivered vyakhyan(speech) on Maharaj.  She stated how he ruled swaraj and kept his subject happy and content. The entire program was carried out in high spirit and rising zeal.
