Objective: To commemorate the birth anniversary of Lokmanya Tilak, a prominent freedom fighter and leader in India's struggle for independence, and to highlight his contributions to the nation.
Opening Remarks: The assembly commenced with a warm welcome by PrincipalMadam, who introduced the purpose of the event and briefly outlined Lokmanya Tilak’s contributions to India's independence movement.In presence of our honourable Ma’am Mrs. Vidhyut Sahare and Vice-Principal Ma’am Dr.Gouri Kadam, Co-ordinator Mr. Rohit Sumbre and Neeta Benke.
Lighting of the Lamp: The event was officially inaugurated with the lighting of the lamp, symbolizing the dispelling of ignorance and the enlightenment brought by Tilak’s ideals by the auspicious hand of honourable Ma’am Mrs. Vidhyut Sahare and Vice-Principal Ma’am Dr.Gouri Kadam , Co-ordinator Mr. Rohit Sumbre and Neeta Benke Ma’am , the program leads.
Invocation: A soulful rendition of a prayer was performed, invoking the spirit of nationalism and reverence for Lokmanya Tilak.
Speech: Mrs.Sunita adhav, UPT Teacher, delivered an insightful speech on Lokmanya Tilak’s life, his role in the freedom struggle, and his famous slogans such as “Swaraj is my Birthright”. The speech highlighted his efforts in promoting education and political awareness among Indians.
Special Address: A special address was given Principal ma’am Mrs.Vidhyut Sahare, who shared additional insights into how Tilak's vision continues to inspire current and future generations.
Vote of Thanks: The assembly concluded with a vote of thanks by Co-ordinator sir Rohit Sumbre, expressing gratitude to all participants, speakers, and attendees for their contribution to the success of the event.
Conclusion: The assembly was a meaningful tribute to Lokmanya Tilak, fostering a deeper understanding of his pivotal role in India's journey towards independence. It served as a reminder of the values of patriotism, perseverance, and the quest for justice that Tilak championed.
