ASHADHI EKADASHI CELEBRATION

Blossom Public School (New) Celebrated Ashadi Ekakashi on 14th July, 2024, Tuesday. The program commenced with "Palkhi Pooja' and 'Aarti. This was followed by the traditional palkhi procession led by a Palkhi carrying the Padukas of Lord Vitthal.

The students from std. 1 st to 6 tu chanted 'HARINAAM' procession included traditional Lezim and Kathi dance of secondary students. Students from std 1 to 6.came in traditional WARKARI  dresses .The celebration ended with prasad  distribution among  the students and school faculties..

The celebration of Ashadhi Ekadashi at school offered students a chance to explore and understand one of the most significant festivals in Hindu culture. students gained insights into the spiritual importance of this day, especially the significance of fasting, devotion, and the journey of Lord Vithoba (Vitthala).

By participating in this celebration, students also learned:
 The cultural and religious significance of Ashadhi Ekadashi.
The importance of self-discipline and devotion as emphasized by the festival.
 The role of community involvement in spiritual practices and festivals.

Students also gained a deeper understanding of how traditional festivals contribute to building a sense of unity, togetherness, and respect for cultural heritage.

Respect for tradition: Celebrating such festivals fosters respect and appreciation for cultural and religious traditions.
