Ashadhi Ekadashi Celebration Report

The Ashadhi Ekadashi had been celebrated on 4 th   July, 2025 in the school campus. It was a grand success, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of the region. The celebration began with the worship of Lord Vithal  and Goddess Rukhmini. The school premises were beautifully decorated with rangoli and pathways were laid out with flowers. All the children dressed up in colourful traditional attire and participated enthusiastically in various programmes like shloka and Abhanga recitation and played musical instruments like taal and pakhwaj , Lezim etc.

Palakhi Worship

The Palakhi, adorned with flowers, carried the idols and padukas of Saints Dnyaneshwar and Tukaram Maharaj.

Palakhi Procession

The Palakhi procession commenced with the accompaniment of drums, lezim, and cymbals. students showcased their skills in lezim and cymbal performances. A dramatic representation of the meeting between Saint Tukaram Maharaj and Shivaji Maharaj was presented, followed by a spiritual discourse.

Parents and teachers enthusiastically participated in the traditional folk dance, Fugdi.
