Grandparents’ Day Celebration at Blossom Public School, New Narhe
Blossom Public School New Narhe, celebrated Grandparents’ Day with great enthusiasm on Tuesday, 09/09/2025. The event aimed to honour the unconditional love, wisdom, and values that grandparents pass on to the younger generation.
The programme began with the welcoming of the guests, followed by the auspicious Saraswati Puja and lighting of the lamp. A melodious welcome song was presented by the students to mark the beginning of the celebration.
The Principal Ma’am then addressed the gathering with her inspiring words, appreciating the grandparents for their love and constant support. This was followed by a delightful song presented by the children, which created an emotional bond between the students and their grandparents.
A few grandparents shared their thoughts and experiences, which made the atmosphere more heartwarming. Fun-filled games and activities were organised, in which grandparents participated with great enthusiasm, adding joy to the celebration.
The school arranged refreshments for the guests, after which feedback was collected from them. The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks, expressing gratitude to all grandparents for their presence and blessings.
The day was filled with love, laughter, and memorable moments, making it a truly special occasion for students, teachers, and grandparents alike.
