“We hold our heads high, despite the price we have paid, because freedom is priceless”

Independence Day is a reminder of the sacrifices of our valiant freedom fighters who stood up against the colonizers and even suffered harsh consequences unflinchingly, so that the later generations could breathe in free air.

The 77th Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and spirit in Blossom Public School & Jr. college new (Narhe) on 15th August 2023, Tuesday. All the students and staff members had assembled at the open ground at 7.30 am. The event started with flag hoisting by the Honorable campus director Mr. Rushiraj Sawant Sir. As the flag unfurled and fluttered proudly in the wind, all dignitaries, staff and students stood up to sing the National Anthem in solemn unison to display their respect for the country. The students performed March-past with the Indian Flag to pay tribute to the motherland ‘INDIA’.

A cultural programme was hosted to pay tribute to the courageous freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for the freedom of our country. The students of Blossom Public School and Cygnet Public School participated enthusiastically in the various cultural programmes.

The programme was marked with great enthusiasm and energy. Sweets and chocolates were distributed to everyone. It ended with renewed promise to contribute to the development of the country.
