KRISHNA JANMASHTAMI CELEBRATION

          Krishna Janmashtami is a Hindu festival celebrated by Hindu community in India.

Janmashtami is celebrated as the birthday of lord Krishna one of the most powerful and famous reincarnation of lord Vishnu. According to Hindu calendar this festival is celebrated on the ashtami of Krishna paksha.

            DahiHandi is the most ancient joyful  game played and celebrated for the birth of krishna.To seek  the blessing of lord Krishna, Dahihandi was celebrated in Blossom Public school,Narhe  Pune on Wednesday, Sep 6 2023 with mirth and joy. The fragnance  of flowers soothing Aroma of camphor and jngle of bells filled  the air.

           The students dressed up as lord Krishna and Radha, complete with flutes , peacock feathers and matkas. The premise was decorated beautifully. The students were overjoyed when they broke the dahi handi to grace the occasion.

Children dance to the tune of many dahi handi songs. The students made a circle around the Govinda while they broke the dahi handi .Prasad is distributed among the children.

This way the  event ended  on a happy note leaving a big smile  on every face.
