Tree Plantation Activity at Blossom Public School, New Narhe

Celebrating World Environment Day – 5th June 2024

Blossom Public School, New Narhe, celebrated World Environment Day on 5th June 2024 with a Tree Plantation Activity for the Pre-Primary Section. The event aimed to create awareness among young learners about the importance of trees and environmental conservation.

Teachers began the session by explaining how to plant a tree, the materials required (sapling, soil, water, and tools), and the importance of taking care of plants. After the demonstration, students enthusiastically prepared their saplings and planted trees around the school premises. This hands-on activity helped them understand the role of trees in keeping the Earth green and healthy.

The event also emphasized clean air, oxygen, and biodiversity, making children more conscious of their environment. Parents appreciated the initiative as it encouraged responsibility and care for nature.
