Report on Janmashtami Celebration at Blossom Public School, New Narhe

To seek the blessings of Lord Krishna and celebrate his divine birth, Blossom Public School, New Narhe, organized a vibrant and joyous Janmashtami celebration. The event was filled with cultural activities and educational values, marking the occasion with great enthusiasm and devotion.

Celebration Highlights:

The students of Blossom Public School participated in the event with immense zeal, dressed up as Lord Krishna, Radha, and the playmates and friends from Krishna’s childhood. The children were seen wearing colorful bangles, traditional odhnis, and peacock crowns, capturing the true essence of the Janmashtami festival. The school premises were beautifully decorated with balloons, flutes, and ‘matkies,’ adding to the festive atmosphere.

A special assembly was conducted during the event, where the students swayed to the tunes of traditional songs, creating a mesmerizing ambiance. The celebration also included a fun-filled session on the school ground, where students enjoyed the music and participated in a lively performance. To ensure smooth coordination, students were gathered class-wise, preventing any chaos and maintaining order.One of the most anticipated moments of the celebration was the breaking of the ‘Dahi Handi,’ a time-honored game symbolizing the playful nature of Lord Krishna.

Throughout the day, the teachers not only guided the students in their participation but also instilled values of self-worth, discipline, and introspection. The teachers emphasized the importance of humility and the significance of Krishna’s teachings in daily life. These lessons helped to create an atmosphere of respect and understanding among the students.
