Activity Overview:
To make learning more experiential, Blossom Public School, New Narhe, organized a Vegetable Market Activity for the Pre-Primary Section in the school’s Multipurpose Hall.
Under the guidance of their teachers, students brought fresh vegetables from home and set up their stalls in an organized manner. Teachers ensured that special cleanliness precautions were followed to instill good hygiene habits among students.
To make the activity more meaningful, parents were invited to support and encourage their children by purchasing vegetables. The enthusiasm was evident as children imitated real market vendors, some even shouting to attract customers, just as they had observed in actual markets. Parents were overwhelmed by their kids’ efforts and confidence in interacting with buyers.
This unique and fun-filled activity not only taught children about the value of hard work but also helped them develop communication skills, confidence, and teamwork.
Moral of the Activity:
Through this initiative, Blossom Public School once again reinforced learning beyond books, making education a joyful and practical experience for its young learners.
