Blossom Public School New Narhe has launched an initiative to enhance students' mathematical skills and foster a deeper understanding of Indian traditional knowledge systems. The school has established two specialized clubs: the Abacus Club. These clubs meet weekly, offering students an opportunity to engage with and learn ancient mathematical techniques that enhance cognitive abilities, problem-solving skills, and mental calculation speed. Students begin by familiarizing themselves with the structure of the abacus and its use in performing basic arithmetic operations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Increased Confidence in Mathematics: Students will become more confident in approaching math problems, developing a positive attitude toward the subject. The weekly Abacus clubs at Blossom Public School New are playing a crucial role in enhancing students' mathematical abilities while also fostering an appreciation for India's rich educational heritage. By focusing on ancient yet practical mathematical techniques, the school is preparing students for success not only in academics but also in cognitive development and competitive environments.
