As part of our ongoing commitment to hands-on learning and STEM education, students from Blossom Public School recently visited Delhi Public School (DPS) for an exciting and enriching educational experience. The visit provided our students with the opportunity to explore real-world applications of science and technology.
During the visit, students witnessed a variety of STEM-based demonstrations and activities, including:
IR Sensor Technology: Students explored how Infrared (IR) sensors work and how they are used in everyday technology, such as obstacle-detecting robots and automation systems.
Gear Chain Mechanism: A fascinating STEM exhibit on gear chains helped students understand the fundamental principles of mechanical motion and transmission of force.
Drone Demonstration: The students observed how drones operate and how their performance changes with varying weights and sizes. This sparked curiosity about aerodynamics, payload capacity, and control mechanisms in flight technology.
Balloon Car Activity: A hands-on session allowed students to engage in a fun yet educational activity where they created balloon-powered cars using provided materials. This activity promoted creativity, teamwork, and an understanding of propulsion and motion.
The visit was an eye-opener for many and inspired our students to think innovatively. It not only strengthened their understanding of science and technology but also encouraged collaboration and problem-solving.
We are grateful to DPS for their warm welcome and for creating an environment of interactive learning. Such experiences truly enhance the educational journey of our students and prepare them for a technology-driven future.
